14 January 1916 – “A quiet but pretty marriage was celebrated last night at nine o’clock in the parlors of the officiating minister, Rev. F. W. Moore on St. Andrew street, the contracting parties being Mr. George Baskerville Buchanon, formerly of Oxford, N. C., now of this city [Petersburg], and Miss Rosa Jones Reynolds, of Appomattox county.
