“State Police reported W. K. Moore of Rt. 2, Appomattox, was shot in the chest and leg with shotgun pellets today while hunting in Appomattox County. The wounds were reported not serious and Moore was expected to be released from a Lynchburg hospital after removal of the pellets.”
